Life doesn’t happen in a bubble. We recognize the importance for our learners to not only acquire skills through one-on-one intervention, but also to be able to safely use those skills in the real world. Our community-based ABA takes learning out of the therapy room, home or classroom and into the outside world.
We focus on generalizing skills taught in other environments, teaching safety and awareness, and improving independence. Our community-based programs use carefully planned outings with the appropriate level of support to ensure relevant, real-world teaching while keeping your child safe.
Integrating into classroom or group settings can be challenging for some learners. Our inclusion and shadowing services provide support for your child in the environment where they need it most.
Services are offered in daycares, schools, and in the community. We meet with you to discuss options and help you choose the best fit for your child and their situation.
The goal of any shadow or inclusion service is to help your child be as safe, happy, and independent as possible as they interact with the world around them.
